%0 Journal Article %T Evaluation of the Patients Referred to Plastic Surgery Clinic from Dermatology Clinic in £¿orum Province: A Two-Year Retrospective Research %A ¨¹mran MUSLU %J - %D 2019 %X Objective: In this study, the distributions of the patients who admitted to dermatology department and were referred to plastic surgery department according to the diagnosis, lesion localization and some demographic characteristics were investigated and the relations between these properties were assessed. Material and Method: The demographic characteristics, lesion localization and diagnosis of 2746 patients who admitted to Hitit University Faculty of Medicine, Dermatology Department and consulted to Plastic Surgery Deparment between January 2015 and January 2017 were retrospectively reviewed and their dermatology, surgery and pathology records were statistically analyzed. Results: The most common lesions were melanocytic nevi (29.5%), cyst (9%) and ingrown nail (7.6%). In males, melanocytic nevi (17.2%), cyst (12.5%) and ingrown nail (9.5%) were most common diagnoses. There was a statistically significant relationship between diagnosis types, localization and gender (p<0.001; <0.001, respectively). The eyelid region had the highest mean age (49.34¡À17.96) and the arm region (33.70¡À17.30) had the lowest mean age.
