%0 Journal Article %T DETERMINING THE ALTERNAT£¿VE HOST COUNTRIES WITH MULTI-CRITERIA DECISION MAKING METHODS FOR SYRIAN REFUGEES %A Kenan O£¿uzhan Oru£¿ %A Merve KILIN£¿ %J - %D 2018 %X After the civil war in Syria in 2011, Syrian people had to emigrate to the other countries. The crucial providing people under the state of being refugees to be safe and not to be sent back to their countries is the non-refoulement principle. However, this principle which has a part in the international agreements and protocols can¡¯t be seen in real life. In this study the problem of determining the most suitable country for Syrian people has been approached within the scope of fundamental human rights. The group of alternatives countries limited to 46 countries have been evaluated according to 7 criteria. In determining criteria, Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy Method have been used. While TOPSIS method makes analysis according to distance of alternative values the analysis point, GRA makes analysis using grey obscurity factor.
