In this study, the effect of patent applications on export of high technology products and R & D expenditures on total exports were examined. The data obtained were examined by linear regression analysis. As a result; Almost all of the changes in the high technology export figures over the years can be explained by the changes in the number of R & D expenditures and patent applications. However; Although the model was found to be significant in general, according to the results of the analysis, there was no statistically significant relationship between the expenditures of patent applications and the ratio of high technology products to annual exports. The most important reason for this is the fact that the patent application is repeated repeatedly for the inventions and methods that are already existing and which are not actually new and that the number of patents appears to be high in number %K AR-GE %K £¿hracat %K Patent %U http://dergipark.org.tr/iy/issue/46636/580428
