%0 Journal Article %T Classification of Cities in Turkey According to Socio-Economic Data by Fuzzy C-Means Method: Comparison of the Periods of 2002-2008-2013 %A Necati Alp ER£¿LL£¿ %A £¿ebnem ZORLUTUNA %J - %D 2018 %X The comparison of regions within the country has an important place in the determination of the applicability of existing policies and the continuation of necessary work by producing new policies. Socio-economic data are used that give the closest comparative results in order to balance the illusions and regions in a country. In this study, the socio-economic indicators belonging to the ones in Turkey are classified using Fuzzy C-Means method which is frequently used in fuzzy clustering analysis. For the year 2002, the data were used by the State Planning Organization (Ministry of Development), and for 2008 and 2013 TUIK data were used. The main headings of the analyzed variables are; socio-economic data, Demographic data, Financial data, Employment data, Health data, Infrastructure data, Training data and Agriculture data.
