%X In recent years, with the globalization of the agricultural sector, the sector has become important and strategic sector again, especially due to the effects of poverty reduction in developing countries, food security, industrial input, foreign exchange, economic growth. Therefore in this study Turkey¡¯s agricultural indicators were examined together with advanced industrial countries. It has been seen that developed industrial countries have not taken agriculture in to the background, but the agricultural industry has been in a global position with scientific research and development studies, innovations at level of production, processing, marketing, system and organizational. Turkey¡¯s not to behind these developments and issues that have to be given importance in the assesment of agricultural potential is evaluated
