%0 Journal Article %T OPINIONS OF MANAGERS WORKING IN SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOL ABOUT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY %A Evgin £¿ay %J - %D 2019 %X In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of the managers working in the special education school about the occupational health and safety in schools. A total of nine administrators, six of whom are male and three of whom are female, participated in the study-special education school. The research was designed according to the qualitative research design and the data were collected by semi-structured interview technique. The interviews lasted between 17 minutes to eight. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. As a result of the research, the managers working in the special education school commented about occupational health and safety practices that it was an application that should be correct, show and developed. It was detected that the possible risks and hazards were not window locks, slippery flor, electrical outlets, pointed corners of the tables in the special education school classes. Managers expressed the opinion about the danger that could arise in the school and in the class. It has been found that the managers Works such as fixing the cabinets, setting up the fire alarm system, building the disabled ramp in their schools.
