%X In order to prevent incidents like July 15, 2016 coup attempt, it is necessary to investigate the history of coups and revolts in the history of Turkey in order to draw essential conclusions. One of the incidents that took place from time to time in the Ottoman Empire was Patrona Halil Rebellion which happened in 1730. The beginning, course and results of the rebellion in terms of a detailed report sent to his government by Ivan Neplyuyev, who was Russia¡¯s diplomatic agent in Istanbul at that time, will be studied in the article
