In the folktale, there are other living things that represent human beings and human behaviour from every layer that represents social life. Vladimir Propp, who has worked in areas such as semiotics and folklore, has made an important contribution to the field by means of a method of analysis used in scientific studies through his most famous work, Morphology of the Folk Tale. In this work, he tried to reveal the structural state of the tales through people and their actions. In order to explain the structure of the folktales, Propp developed 31 functions based on the actions of the fairy tales, and it took a helpful and positive result to implement these stages in the fairy tales. As a result, it has revealed a formal structure. In this study, after explaining Propp, the author of the Morphology of the Folktale, where the morphological method was introduced, and his theory, The Eagle of the Underworld will be analysed within the framework of this theory %K Vladimir Propp %K Masal %K Bi£¿imbilim %K £¿£¿lev %K Eylem Alan£¿ %K Yeralt£¿ Diyar£¿n£¿n Kartal£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/erciyesiletisim/issue/42719/451641
