It could not be determined certainly, however, from where they came to Mesopotamia. Scientists put forward many views on this subjects. Most dominant among them is the view which suggests that Sumerians came to Mesopotamia from the region around the Aral Sea that is from Central Asia. The scientistswho believe this agree that the Sumerians may be one of the ancient Turkish societies or a tribe related to the Turks. Moreover, the Sumerian language also appears to support this view. As a matter of fact, the Sumerian language is an ¡°agglutinative¡± language, a group that includes Turkish. It is possible to compare the Sumerian language with Turkish in terms of world structure, word derivation, sentence structure, the naming of words, word order without conjunctions and its rules, the rules chaining, verbal and noun sentences, and plural suffixes. The roots of words do not change in the Sumerian language. Single syllables ocur more frequently. The rules of word derivation in the Sumerian language are olso very similar to Turkish. The essential feature of the Sumerian language is that it expresses the relations of individual words and sentence parts with each other in terms of grammar, making them a word chain. Turkish has the same features as well. There are similarities between these two languages also in terms of verbal and noun sentences and plural suffixes. Not even one convincing etymological word similarity could be found between any language and the Sumerian language that could be compared to Turkish in terms of language properties. Turkish and Sumerian words were compared, by the forming of human, god and nature groups. After many similarities between Sumerian and Turkish words were found, it was suggested that coincidental word relevance between any languages that had no relation with each other would be a miracle. Archeological and anthropological documents also contribute to defining the Sumerians identity and strengthen the thesis connening their Turkishness. Not it is accepted by all scientific circles tha the Sumerians, Subarians, Kuts, Kas, Elamians, Hurris and Urartians are tribes that came from the same origin. The documents belonging to them show their languages have an agglutinative structure like the Sumerian language. The words belonging to their languages can even be compared %K Sumerliler %K T¨¹rkler %K T¨¹rk£¿e %K k¨¹lt¨¹r %U http://dergipark.org.tr/atdd/issue/42090/506412
