%0 Journal Article %T Attitudes of Teachers of Religious Culture and Ethical Knowledge Towards Teaching Methods and Techniques %A Ali BALTACI %A Yusuf AYDIN %J - %D 2019 %X This study aims to investigate the methods and techniques that teachers of religious culture and ethical knowledge (RCEK) use in their lessons and to identify their attitudes towards these methods and techniques. This study was carried out in a descriptive survey model of quantitative research design. Within the scope of this study, "The attitude scale of teaching methods and techniques of teachers of religious culture and ethical knowledge¡± developed by the researcher was used. The population of this study is composed of 2078 RCEK teachers working in Ankara province. The study group was designated as 109 for the preliminary application; in the main application, it is composed of 373 RCEK teachers determined by the layered sampling method. For the analysis of the data, "t" test, ANOVA and Cohen¡¯d formula were used, with the significance level in the study determined as 0.05. We have found that there is significant difference in the attitudes of RCEK teachers towards the use of teaching methods and techniques in terms of gender, professional tenure and education level.
