%0 Journal Article %T Analysis of the Introduction Parts of Educational Science Articles in the Context of ¡°Movement¡¯¡¯ and ¡°Step¡¯¡¯ %A Halil Erdem £¿ocuk %J - %D 2018 %X This study aims to determine rhetorical structures of articles published in journals of educational sciences (Educational Sciences, Science/Mathematics Education and Social Sciences Education) between 2005 and 2015, to reveal frequency and level of use of these structures. The study is important in that a new model is constructed by examining analyses of rhetorical structures in literature, techniques and sub-techniques that researchers utilized while building introduction part of journals are listed. In this descriptive study, the first three educational-content Turkish articles, involving the word ¡°education¡± in their titles, published in the first and last issues of journals which take part in ULAKBIM Journal Park System between 2005 and 2015 were analyzed. Evaluation Scale of Moves and Steps in Introduction Part of Scientific Articles (EMSIP) and Chart of Techniques and Sub-techniques in Introduction Part of Scientific Articles were applied as data collection tools.
