%0 Journal Article %T THE TREATMENT OPTIONS OF TARSAL TUNNEL SYNDROME AND THE RESAULTS OF SURGICAL THERAPY %A Serdar Ercan %J - %D 2019 %X The tarsal tunnel syndrome, caused by the entrapment of posterior tibail nerve and the branches, is the second most common peripheral neuropathy. Our study has aimed to compare the differences between preoperative and the postoperative symptoms of tarsal tunnel syndrome. Results: It is observed that the postoperative VAS score was significantly less than the preoperative VAS scores. There was no difference of VAS scores between both sexes. Conclusion: The symptoms of the tarsal tunnel syndrome decrease significantly after the surgical treatment.
