%0 Journal Article %T Examination of the Relationships Between Irrational Romantic Relationship Beliefs and Happiness Among University Students %A Demet Erol %A Tuba Pala Akbaba %J - %D 2019 %X The purpose of this research was to study the relations between the irrational romantic relationship beliefs and happiness in a sample of 466 students in Akdeniz University (283 female, 183 male) in 2017-2018 Educational Fall Term. The Turkish version of the Irrational Romantic Relationships Beliefs Inventory (Sar£¿, 2008) and The Oxford Happiness Questionnaire Short Form (Do£¿an ve £¿£¿tok, 2011) were used for data collection. The sub-dimensions of the Irrational Romantic Relationships Beliefs Inventory were, ¡°Extreme expectations¡±, ¡°Mind reading¡±, Thinking differently¡±, ¡°Physical closeness¡± ¡° Gender differences¡± and ¡°Using social time¡±.
