%0 Journal Article %T The Effect on Some Pump Parameters of Screen Length in Irrigation Wells %A Nuri ORHAN %J - %D 2019 %X This study was carried out on a deep well model for typical irrigation purposes. For the three different conditions of the screen length from the deep well equipment, the results of the change between the well water level drop, the pump noise level, the pump outlet and inlet pressure and power drawn from the mains were investigated. In this study, hydraulic load, screen type, gravel zone thickness and pump type are kept constant. Pump tests are performed at screen lengths of 2 m (FU1), 4 m (FU2) and 6 m (FU3). According to the trial results; It was determined that there was no difference between drawdowns FU1 and FU2 combinations in different flow rates but there was a difference in FU3 combination. In addition, it was seen that there was a difference in LSD test. The decrease drawdown of the per unit length obtained in all flow rates of FU1 and FU3 combinations was determined as 2.22 cm m-1 on average. As the screen length increases, the flow water input to screen was calculated to decreases. Generally, the noise level of the pump is reduced as the screen length increases. In all flow rates, the average noise level measured in combinations of FU1, FU2 and FU3 was determined as 75.3-72.2 and 71.3 dBA respectively. In some flow rates, power drawn from the mains pump is increased with increasing the screen length. As a result, the well screen length was determined to affect in the pumping parameters %K Kuyu filtre uzunlu£¿u %K filtre %K d¨¹£¿¨¹m %K sulama derin kuyusu %U http://dergipark.org.tr/turkjans/issue/47247/595367
