%X In the 2000s, as a result of the rapid progress of nanotechnology, nanomedicine emerged as a new science and technology field, and the most deadly disease of the 21st century, cancer remedies were sought. In recent years, by combining cell line applications and nanotechnology, it is aimed to develop targeted cancer treatments with new generation drugs produced by using nanoparticles which kill tumor cells and which do not damage healthy (normal) cells. In this review, recent studies on nanoparticle applications in mammalian normal and tumor cell lines were discussed
