%0 Journal Article %T Reflections of Children's Animation Films in Preschool Children's Drawings %A BERNA S£¿C£¿M SEV£¿M %A Rukiye D£¿LL£¿ %A S.Seda BAPO£¿LU D¨¹MENC£¿ %J - %D 2019 %X The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of popular animated films for children on pre-school children's drawings. The sample consists of 15 preschool children who attended public preschool during 2016-2017 spring and fall semesters. During the data collection process, children watched 12 animated cartoons for 6 months, which had been broadcast for 5 years, and then they were asked to draw the pictures of the scenes most memorable in their minds. Children¡¯s verbal expressions for each picture were noted by the researchers. Document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative analysis methods, was employed and picture evaluation form was developed by the researchers to analyze the data. According to the findings based on the 130 pictures of the children, children focused some stereotypical situations in animated films and drew those situations.
