%0 Journal Article %T Investigation of Pre-service Teachers' Self-Efficacy Levels of Gifted Students in Terms of Some Variables %A Derya G£¿RG£¿N %A £¿avu£¿ £¿AH£¿N %J - %D 2019 %X Teachers¡¯ qualifications are an important aspect in the education of gifted individuals. The primary concern of the present study is to determine the self-efficacy levels of the preservice teachers in relation to gifted students in the fourth year of their undergraduate education in the departments of Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Turkish Language, and Science Teaching in the College of Education at £¿anakkale Onsekiz Mart University in the 2017-2018 academic year. This is a correlational study based on the quantitative research model. Data were collected using a Demographic Information Form, created by the researchers, and ¡°Gifted Education Self-Efficacy Scale for Teachers¡±, developed by Tortop (2014). Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Percentages, frequencies, and mean scores were considered and Independent samples t-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were employed for the analyses of the data. The results revealed a significant department-based difference in the domains ¡°Academic Qualification", ¡°Mentorship (Advisorship) Qualification¡±, "Responsibility", ¡°Personality Traits¡±, and "Creativity Fostering Qualification¡± %K £¿£¿retmen aday£¿ %K ¨¹st¨¹n yetenekli £¿£¿renci %K ¨¹st¨¹n yetenekliler e£¿itimine ili£¿kin £¿z-yeterlik %U http://dergipark.org.tr/sead/issue/47078/545357
