In this respect, a study is conducted on the 204 employees who work in the field of furniture making in Istanbul. In this study, the effects of five major personality traits on the perception of employees¡¯ job engagement is analyzed. In the study, five major personality traits (opennes to experience, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism) are considered as independent variables. Whereas, job engagement is considered as a one factor dependent variable. A path analysis is done according to the model which was formed to decide the affects of five major personality traits on the perception of employee¡¯s job engagement. As a result of analysis, it is found out that agreeableness (0,24; p<0,01) and extraversion (0,41; p<0,01) have positive significant affect, whereas conscientiousness (-0,31; p<0,01) has negative significant affect and openness to experience and neuroticism have no significant affect on job engagement at all %K Ki£¿ilik %K Be£¿ Fakt£¿r Ki£¿ilik %K £¿£¿e Cezbolma %U http://dergipark.org.tr/gjeb/issue/43434/429600
