%0 Journal Article %T Investigation of Eight Grade Revolution History and Kemalism Textbook in terms of Scientific Competence %A Hilal KARAVAR %J - %D 2018 %X The main source of materials used by teachers and students in schools is textbooks. For this reason, textbooks should be prepared according to the objectives, content, learning-teaching process and measurement and evaluation dimensions of the curriculum. It is important that there are no scientific errors in a textbook. The purpose of this study is examine the eight grade Revolution History and Kemalism textbook taught in middle school and Imam Hatip middle school in terms of scientific accuracy. In the study, document analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods is used. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the textbook which was analyzed on the basis of text.
