%0 Journal Article %T A POSTMODERNIST HISTORICAL NOVEL: ¡°BEN£¿M ADIM KIRMIZI¡± %A Tuba K£¿ra£¿ %J - %D 2019 %X Orhan Pamuk, who uses the advantage of a multi-faceted personality as a touchstone in his writing, because of his success in enriching the multi-layered and deep colors of his works with the different techniques he has applied, he has always taken his place among the writers of Turkish and World Literature researchers. When Pamuk's novel Benim Ad£¿m K£¿rm£¿z£¿ (1988), which blends the historical traditions of the past with the traces of his own life and his interest in the painting, reveals his interest in the painting; it is seen that it is subject to examinations from different angles in terms of its plot, the way it is fictionalised, the variety of the techniques used and its structure. In his unpublished Master's thesis named ¡°The Reflections of Postmodernism in Orhan Pamuk's Novels¡± which is the source of this article by Tahsin Yaprak, he examined Orhan Pamuk's novels in detail under the title of Postmodernism (except for his novels in Kafamda Bir Tuhafl£¿k and K£¿rm£¿z£¿ Sa£¿l£¿ Kad£¿n) a large gap in the area appears to fill. In this article, Benim Ad£¿m K£¿rm£¿z£¿, which is written with postmodern technique and which brings the reader to an immersive adventure journey within the history-crimelove triangle, will be discussed in the context of the historical novel, and will be attempted to be reflected.
