%0 Journal Article %T AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE LIFE QUALITY OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AT THE AGE OF 48-72 MONTHS AND THEIR SELF-REGULATION SKILLS %A Fatma AL£¿S£¿NANO£¿LU %A Merve MERCAN %A Saide £¿ZBEY %J - %D 2018 %X This study aims to find out whether the life quality of pre-school children at the age of 48-72 months varies according to some variables and to investigate the relationship between the life quality of the children and their self-regulation skills. The sampling of this study consisted of 203 children aged 48-72 months selected by random cluster sampling method among the children who are currently attending the kindergartens of official primary schools, independent kindergartens, and private kindergartens affiliated with Ministry of National Education, in Avc£¿lar district in £¿stanbul. As a result of this study, the scores obtained from the Life Quality Scale indicate a significant difference according to such variables as the type of school the children attend, the education level of their parents and family types, but they indicate no significant difference according to gender.
