%0 Journal Article %T A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TURKEY, SOUTH KOREA AND ISRAEL¡¯S NATIONAL INNOVATION SYSTEMS %A Yasemin HANCIO£¿LU %J - %D 2018 %X Changing competitive paradigm of 21st century, enterprises, regions and countries bring faced with innovation which has a new concept with political, social and economic influences. Successful implementation of the national innovation systems which determines actors in innovation process and regulates relations between these actors and innovation policies determines their position in competition at the global level. It is stated that especially the developing countries start to technology race later than developed countries. However, some countries that have achieved rapid catching-up process have reached level of innovation performance of developed countries. In this study, national innovation systems and innovation policies of Turkey, South Korea and Israel which started at similar periods to study of innovation policy were examined. As a result of comparison between these three countries, South Korea and Israel seem to have made catching-up process of technology faster.
