%0 Journal Article %T The impact of proactive personality and locus of control on career satisfaction and innovative work behavior %A Emine Kale %J - %D 2019 %X The purpose of the current study is to investigate the effects of employees' proactive personality and locus of control on their career satisfaction and innovative work behavior. The sample of the study contains four- and five-star hotels employees working in Nevsehir. Data is collected using a questionnaire and 166 applicable questionnaires are gathered at the end of the study. According to the results of SEM analysis, proactive personality positively affects career satisfaction and innovative work behavior. Internal locus of control, which is the dimension of locus of control, positively affects career satisfaction but there is no significant effect on innovative work behavior.
