%0 Journal Article %T £¿ntravenous Leiomyomatosis: Case Report %A Mehmet Kulhan %J - %D 2018 %X Leiomyoms are the most frequently found benign tumors of uterus. They are seen approximately %20-30 of reproductive age women. Transformation of malignancy risk is less than %0,5. Intraven£¿z leiomyomatosiz which clinically looks like leiyomyom noduls and consists of venoz vein floored by epitelyum is a rarely seen smooth muscle tumor . Also, it is histologically characterized by noduler mass consisting benign smooth muscle tumor. Intravenous leiomyomatosis is entirely benign histophatologically and morphologically, however it looks like a malign tumour in terms of its symptoms, behaviour and growingn patern. This disease¡¯s treatment is surgery and all of tumoral mass must be excreted. Prognosis is rather good. Intravenous leiomyomatosis can reach the veins and the heart. It must be taken into consideration that it rarely recurrens, therefore the treatment and proceding schedule should be determined according to it.
