%0 Journal Article %T Teaching Arabic within the Context of Linguistics, Pedagogy and Psychology %A Yakup KIZILKAYA %A Ziad ABDALLAH %J - %D 2018 %X As well as benefiting from a number of disciplines to determine the approaches and methods to teach foreign languages, the content of the language teaching is mainly determined by the results obtained from the interaction between linguistics, pedagogy and psychology. Qualified foreign language education can become possible by the teaching activity which brings these sciences together. For this, it is necessary to set the standards in these fields for teaching Arabic as a foreign language. This article aims to present suggestions for these fields by evaluating the theories, methods and practices of educational psychology, applied linguistics and pedagogy for teaching Arabic.
