%0 Journal Article %T The Investigation of the Relationship between Individual Innovative Levels and Individual Creatives of Science Teacher Candidates %A Nilg¨¹n YEN£¿CE %J - %D 2018 %X The aim of this study is to determine the levels of individual innovation and individual creativity of science teachers, and to determine the relationship between individual innovation levels and individual creativity. The research in which the descriptive and relational screening model was used was conducted with the participation of 159 science teachers. In the study, developed by Hurt, Joseph and Cook (1977), ¡°Individual Innovation Scale¡± and ¡°Individual Creativity Scale¡± developed by K£¿l£¿£¿er and Odaba£¿£¿ (2010) and developed by Balay (2010) were used. Mean (X) and standard deviation (SS) scores were calculated to determine individual innovation and individual creativity levels of science teacher candidates; Mann Whitney U-test and Kruskal Wallis H-test were used in the independent samples and the correlation analysis was used in the relationship. According to the obtained results, it was determined that the science teachers' candidates are in the category of interrogators in terms of individual innovation levels and they are moderate in terms of scientific creativity level. In addition, it was found that the individual innovativeness and individual creativity of teacher candidates did not show any significant differences according to gender and class level variables.
