%0 Journal Article %T Scaling Individuals¡¯ Happiness Factors through Pairwise Comparisons %A Duygu ANIL %J - %D 2019 %X In this study, it was studied what ¡°features that make individuals most happy¡± should be by scaling study with pairwise comparison to determined. This research was performed on 122 volunteer responders in different gender, age groups, education level and occupations in Ankara and Istanbul. The study group was determined by the maximum diversity sampling method of purposive sampling method. A questionnaire prepared by the researcher was used as the data collection tool. Scaling was applied by Thurstone¡¯s law of comparative judgment case V. equation to perform scaling work on collected data with pair-wise comparison by questionnaire. According to the findings obtained as a result of comparing the factors that make the individuals most happy by pair-wise comparison, it was determined that ¡°family¡± was first feature that makes individuals most happy. The second factor that makes individuals most happy is the moral values. These first two features were followed by freedom, good work, career, social environment and money.
