%0 Journal Article %T Boomerang Effect of Mohammad Bin Salman in Saudi Arabia Foreign Policy %A Mustafa £¿ZTOP %J - %D 2019 %X In this study, Saudi Arabia Foreign Policy (SAFP) is discussed and it was tried to show that foreign policy can be utilized as a tool for safety of the regime. The throne in Saudi Arabia was generally given to the elder one among sons of the founder leader King Abdulaziz bin Saud. Recently, grandsons of the founder leader have started to become heirs to the throne due to decreasing in number of sons and their old age. One of the grandsons, Mohammed bin Salman rose to power rapidly and became crown prince after his father became king. Influences of global and regional actors in internal affairs of the term of King Salman bin Abdulaziz were observed. It is considered that Mohammad bin Salman enhanced his efficiency in domestic policy and put his opponents out of action by having some variety of relations with those actors. In this sense, in the study, together with investigating SAFP with boomerang effect concept of constructive approach among the theories of international relations, which emphasizes the transitivity between internal affairs and foreign policy, reflections of the processes in foreign policy onto domestic policy were evaluated. A new era has started in Saudi Arabia in terms of throne struggles and social upheaval that tried to be realized.
