%X Restrictive cardiyomyopathy (RCM) is a very rarely diagnosed cardiyomyopathy in childhood. Most RCM in childhood is idiopathic with a high mortality. Biatrial enlargement and normal sized ventricles with normal or increased ventricular wall thickness are the characteristic morphological features of RCM. The differential diagnosis of constrictive pericarditis is important. In this article a patient at 2.5 years of age with RCM is discussed regarding the literature
