In this study, two medicinal and aromatic plants (Lavandula angustifolia, Rosmarinus officinalis) which have an important place in human health, were exposed to sound waves at 3 different dB values (sound intensities are 95 dB,100dB,105dB). During the period of application the frequency values 1000 Hz adjusted as constantly. Sound stresses that created by the sound fields in which sound waves that have different dB values affect growth and development of plants as an alternative mechanic stress. In this research, plant height (cm), number of leaves/plant, diameter of stem (mm), fresh and dry weight of root, fresh and dry weight of shoot (leaves + stem) were measured and essential oil rate (%) were determined. The results indicated that growth parameters and essential oil of, Lavandula angustifolia, Rosmarinus officinalis were affected by sound intensities %K Lavandula angustifolia %K Rosmarinus officinalis %K ses dalgalar£¿ %K dB %K Hz %K bitki b¨¹y¨¹mesi %K u£¿ucu ya£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/yyufbed/issue/39163/402213
