%X As a result of the national struggle led by Mustafa Kemal, the Turk£¿sh nation gained indepence and the foundations of the new Turk£¿sh state were laid. In the following process, changes in the understanding of government were experienced and the new form of goverment was determined as a republic. Despite some diffucultes in the transition to the republican administration the uncompromising revolutionary spirit from the understanding of the Turk£¿sh Grand National Asembly elected the first president of the new Turkish state Mustafa Kemal. Managing for about 15 years in his capacity as president of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atat¨¹rk passed away on 10 November 1938 of the disease hence. The presidental election resulted in a smooth result of the parliaments positive attitude. After the presidential election Atat¨¹rk had to be elected as a deputy instead. Therefore Arif Bayt£¿n was appointed as Ankara deputyby the Republican People¡¯s Party. As a result of the interim elections held in Ankara, Arif Bayt£¿n was elected to Ankara deputy which was vacated from Atat¨¹rk. Thus the parliamentary election process has been successful
