%0 Journal Article %T INVESTIGATION OF THE REFEREE SELF-EFFICACY LEVELS OF THE VOLLEYBALL REFEREES %J - %D 2019 %X The aim of this study is to examine the referees' self-efficacy of Turkish volleyball referees according to various variables. The sample group of the study consisted of 377 Volleyball Referees (159 Female, 218 Male) who were refereeing during 2018-2019 competition season in Turkey. Personal information form and Referee Self-Efficacy Scale, which was conducted by Kara£¿am ve Pulur (2017) for Turkish validity and reliability, was used as data collection tool. SPSS 22 program was used to analyze the data. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to determine whether the data showed normal distribution. The significance level was accepted as p<0.05 in the analyzes. Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyze the data of gender and volleyball experience variables. Kruskal-Wallis test was used to analyze the age, education level and referee level. As a result of the research, a significant difference was found in the self-efficacy of the arbitrator and gender, age, and refereeing level (p <0.05). There was no significant difference in educational status (p> 0.05).
