%0 Journal Article %T Studying of the Classroom Management Behaviors of Physical Education Teachers According to Their Different Leadership Styles %A Okan Bur£¿ak £¿EL£¿K %J - %D 2018 %X The aim of this study was to determine the leadership styles and the classroom management behaviours of the physical education teachers and to examine the relationship between them. Participants of the study were 193 physical education teachers (60 female, 133 male) who is selected with convenience sampling method. In order to determine the leadership styles of the physical education teachers, Teacher Leadership Styles Scale was used and to determine the classroom management behaviour, Physical Education Teachers Classroom Management Behaviours Scale was used. Due to research datas have showed the normal distribution, pairwise comparisons were analysed with Independent t-test and comparisons including three or more variables were analysed with One Way ANOVA test. Relationship was determined with Pearson correlation test. In conclusion, it had been determined that physical education teachers had semi democratic leadership style and very competent classroom management behaviours. Leadership styles of participants have showed significant difference according to the length of employment and educational level which had been served. In addition, classroom management behaviours of participants have showed significant difference according to gender and age.
