%0 Journal Article %T Evaluation Of A Case Of Lung Abscess %A SEL£¿UK NAZ£¿K %J - %D 2018 %X Lung abscess is a serious infectious disease characterized by necrosis and cavitation in the lung parenchyma. If rapid and accurate antibiotherapy is not provided, mortality of the disease is high. Case 18 years old female patient. Hospitalization and immunosuppressive disease are absent. She applied to the clinic for complaints of fever, cough, night sweats and shortness of breath, which lasted for about a month. The patient was hospitalized because of air fluid level in the cavity on chest X-ray. Enterobacter cloacae was detected in lung abscess culture. Ceftriaxone therapy was given for twenty-one days. The findings of the chest X-ray improved and her complaints declined significantly, and the patient was discharged healthily.
