There are three different analysis scenarios, In the first scenario, a circular pipe is defined, for the second scenario first pipe is converted elliptical structure and for the last third scenario, pipe is made more elliptical. All pipes are designed as copper made and have same heat transfer surface area. Parameters are identical for all pipes as 30¡ã C water that has 2.2 m/s velocity goes in the pipe and 650¡ãC air passes all around the pipes with 1.2 m/s. For all scenarios numerical analyses are done for inlet and outlet flow, In conclusion; throughout modifying the construction to elliptical from circular; even air left temperature is decreased %15 and has %30 velocity less, heat transfer rate is increased about %60. In order to reach optimum solution, analytical analyses should be made before numerical analysis which has independency from mesh quantity %K E£¿anj£¿rler %K Boru konstr¨¹ksiyonu %K Is£¿ transfer performans£¿ %K Dairesel boru %K Elips boru %U http://dergipark.org.tr/muhendis-beyinler/issue/31820/484711
