%0 Journal Article %T Effect of Intranasal Salbutamol on the Nose Obstruction Seen in Pediatric Patients with Allergic Rhinitis %A S£¿d£¿ka Deniz YALIM %J - %D 2019 %X Objective: To investigate whether intranasal salbutamol has efficacy in pediatric patients with allergic rhinitis with atopy. Material and Methods: Sixteen pediatric patients (9 boy, 6 girl) with allergic rhinitis with atopy within age between 6 and 17 years were administered intranasal salbutamol and evaluated with acoustic rhinometry before and just after the administration of the drug. Results: There was a statistically significant difference between CSA1 SD in both left and right nasal cavities, and also in CSA1 area, CSA3 distance in right nasal cavity before and after salbutamol administration. Conclusion: Intranasal salbutamol administration is effective in pediatric patients with allergic rhinitis with atopy without side effect.
