possible to naturalize semantics? Starting from Libet¡¯s 1983 studies, current
research developments in neuronal bases of behavior reduce the mind to the
brain, with significant implications in reference to issues of free will,
imputability and individual behavioral responsibility. However, many criticisms
can be made at this approach. This paper shows the limits of Cognitive
Neuro-reductionism, especially in the light of Varela¡¯s <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Systemic</span></i> <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Cognitive</span></i> <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Neu</span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">roscience</span></i><span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> or </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Neurophenomenology</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> and the current theoretical revision</span></span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> process </span><span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">of social systems as </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">complex</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">¡ª</span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">dynamical</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">, </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">emergent</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> and </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">unpredictable</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">¡ª</span></span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">social</span></i> <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">systems</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">, or </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Complex</span></i> <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Realism</span></i> <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">Sociology.</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> Here, there is an agreement point. The conception of
living systems as </span><i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">complex</span></i> <i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">system</span></i><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"> as well as that of social system
as complex systems acknowledge the autonomy of human reflexivity capability and
free will </span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">be </span></span></span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\">able to initiate the chain of events that triggers the process of
adaptation to environment and change and social emergence ones, and, in so
doing, problematize a
