This paper introduces an ultrawideband fractal antenna with CSRRs defected grounding unit. By loading the defected grounding structure and Koch fractal element, the bandwidth of the antenna is in the range of 3.03~16 GHz and has a relative bandwidth of up to 136% without adding additional volume.
