The hydrogeological parameters of the aquifer can be tested by the tracer dilution method. This paper introduces the basic principle of measuring horizontal velocity and flow direction and vertical flow in groundwater seepage by dilution method, and its application in the measurement of groundwater velocity and flow direction in the stratum between two subway stations in a city. The test results provide hydrogeological parameters for the calculation of groundwater seepage fields.
