Equol, is a kind of phytoestrogenic compound, which synthesized by soybean isoflavones by intestinal microbiota. It has high affinity for estrogen receptor and higher biological activity than soybean isoflavones, so it is one of the widely studied small molecule substances. Equol has many biological effects, such as hormone like effect, antioxidation, immune regulation, etc. In this paper, the biological activity and antibacterial effect of equol were reviewed, in order to provide new ideas for the antibacterial treatment of equol. %K 雌马酚,生物学活性,真菌,细菌,抗菌作用
