In order to improve the uninterrupted operation reliability of airport weather radar system, a redundant switching system with dual thermal backup is proposed. The system concentrates the transmit, receive and servo redundant control switch on a domestic Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) as the core of the redundant control circuit board. This paper mainly introduces the overall design and extension function of redundant system. The hardware design, structure design and FPGA software design of redundant control board are mainly studied. The system has been successfully applied to C-band weather radar in domestic airports, which improves the reliability and maintainability of the system. %K 国产FPGA,冗余切换,硬件设计,软件设计
