Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a highly antibiotic-resistant conditionally pathogenic bacterium capable of causing a wide range of life-threatening acute and chronic infections. It is one of the major pathogens of bacterial lung infections with high morbidity and mortality. The establishment of effective and appropriate animal models can greatly assist our understanding of disease pathogenesis as well as testing and developing new therapeutic strategies. The aim of this paper is to provide a theoretical basis for basic and clinical research applications by detailing and evaluating the methodology of animal pneumonia models established using Pseudomonas aeruginosa as the causative agent. %K 铜绿假单胞菌,急性感染,慢性感染,动物模型
