<i>Yue</i><i> </i><i>F</i><i>u</i>, as the second section of the stylistic theory expounded in <i>The Literary Mind and the Car</i><i>v</i><i>ing of </i><i>Dragons</i>, serves as the inaugural monograph on <i>Yue</i><i> </i><i>F</i><i>u</i> studies, leaving a profound impact on subsequent research in this field. The primary objectives of this treatise can be summarized as follows. Firstly, Liu Xie elucidated the distinct stylistic autonomy that means <i>Distinguishing It From The Traditional Poetry And Song</i> of <i>Yue</i><i> </i><i>Fu</i> poetry, through an analysis of its concept and origin. Secondly, Liu Xie critically evaluated the diverse styles of <i>Yue</i><i> </i><i>Fu</i> poems during the Han, Wei, and Jin dynasties, employing the criterion of that <i>Both Lyrics And Melodies Should Emanate Ele</i><i>g</i><i>ance.</i> Lastly, Liu Xie underscored the innovative notion of prioritizing lyrics in the composition of Yuefu poetry.
