Single-cell RNA sequencing technology has provided a comprehensive and dynamic perspective on diabetic nephropathy, offering a new way to study the complex gene networks and cellular interactions in the kidney, which not only reveals the differences in the existence and functions of various cell types in the kidney, but also plays an important role in the study of cellular communication. However, its application in the field of diabetic nephropathy still needs to face challenges such as technical limitations and understanding of causal relationships.
