The transmitter and receiver in radar system are the key equipment to realize target detection and information receiving. The transmitter converts electrical energy into microwave energy, which is then transmitted through the antenna. The receiver receives the reflected microwave signal, processes it, and finally obtains the information of the target object. However, in the actual operation, the radar transmitter will have various problems, resulting in weak echo signal. This paper will take 714CDP weather radar transmitter as an example to conduct an in-depth analysis of the phenomenon of weak echo that may be caused by it, analyze part of the signal flow of the receiver, take the breakdown of klystron cathode insulation as the starting point, and gradually analyze the klystron, pulse transformer and voltage regulation switch, and explain and analyze the troubleshooting and maintenance process in detail. The analysis techniques of radar echo weakness fault are refined and summarized to provide some technical support and practical guidance for weather radar maintenance. %K 发射机、回波,速调管,脉冲变压器
