A Comparative Study of Narrative Artistry in Costume Suspense Dramas: “Lotus Tower” and “Tales of the Tang Dynasty 2” %A 张惠琪 %J Art Research Letters %P 261-267 %@ 2326-3482 %D 2024 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/arl.2024.134037 %X 本文旨在从叙事学视角出发，对古装悬疑剧《莲花楼》与《唐朝诡事录2》的叙事艺术进行深入对比研究。通过分析两部剧在叙事手法、人物塑造、视听语言等方面的安排，探讨其独特的叙事特色与艺术魅力。在叙事手法方面，本文揭示了《莲花楼》采用的“主线 + 单元案件”模式与《唐朝诡事录2》的案件串联与权谋斗争交织模式的不同，并深入剖析了两部剧在叙事层次构建、叙事节奏把控上的异同对整体叙事所起到的作用。同时分析两部片子在悬疑设置、情节反转、案件间联系等方面的不同表现，探讨了这些元素如何共同作用于剧情的推进与观众心理的引导。人物塑造上，文章对比了主角李莲花(李相夷)与卢凌风、苏无名的性格特征与成长轨迹，以及两部剧中配角群像的独特性与辅助作用。视听语言上，本文分析了《莲花楼》与《唐朝诡事录2》在画面、声音和镜头语言上的独特运用。
This paper aims to conduct an in-depth comparative study of the narrative artistry in the costume suspense dramas “Lotus Tower” and “Tales of the Tang Dynasty 2” from a narratological perspective. By analyzing the narrative techniques, character construction, and audio-visual language of the two dramas, this study explores their unique narrative characteristics and artistic charm. In terms of narrative techniques, the paper reveals the differences between the “main plot + unit cases” model adopted by “Lotus Tower” and the interweaving of cases with power struggles in “Tales of the Tang Dynasty 2,” and delves into how the construction of narrative levels and control of narrative pace in both dramas affect the overall narrative. The paper also analyzes the different performances of the two dramas in terms of suspense settings, plot twists, and connections between cases, discussing how these elements work together to advance the plot and guide the audience’s psychology. In terms of character construction, the article compares the personality traits and growth trajectories of the protagonists Li Lianhua (Li Xiangyi) and Lu Lingfeng, Su Wuming, as well as the uniqueness and supportive roles of the supporting characters in both dramas.
