%X this article deals with the need for making a reflection on the configuration process of ''collective memory'' and ''territories'' shared in relation to september 11th, 1973 after 30 years of the military takeover in chile, from a socio-semiotic point of view. therefore, our proposal involves the following main objectives: 1) on the one hand, to present a conceptual description and discussion in relation to concepts such as ''collective memory,'' ''text,'' ''borderlines,'' and ''territories,'' based on the theoretical statements of maurice halbwachs, manuel antonio garret¨®n, ren¨¦ ka£¿s, luri lotman, cristina pe£¿amar¨ªn, among others; 2) on the other hand, to make a contribution to a reflection on the already named concepts by analyzing an institutional discourse practice, delivering results and final considerations in relation to the purpose of our analytical interests.
