%X the article diffrentiates four modes of relating racism and sexism. the first calls attention to similarities between the two phenomena; the second, to differences; the third, to couplings, and the forth to intersections. a model that encompasses similarities, differences, couplings and intersections, the author stresses, has a much wider critical reach than a one-dimensional one.
