%0 Journal Article %T Invarianza Factorial de la Escala de Ansiedad Asociada a la Imagen Corporal en Estudiantes Universitarios de Educaci¨®n F¨ªsica y Ciencias de la Salud %A Guedea %A Julio C %A Ornelas %A Martha %A Rodr¨ªguez %A Judith M %A Gast¨¦lum %A Gabriel %J Formaci¨®n universitaria %D 2012 %I Centro de Informaci¨®n Tecnol¨®gica (CIT) %R 10.4067/S0718-50062012000600005 %X the present study analyses the psychometric properties of the body image anxiety scale (bias) on students of physical education and health sciences. the total sample comprised 918 participants; 460 students of physical education and 458 students of health sciences, with a mean age of approximately 18.3 years and 18.1, respectively. psychometric analysis showed that a bi-factorial structure was viable and adequate for both populations, according to the established psychometric requirements when the informers are the students themselves. the results showed that factor structure, factor loadings and intercepts of the instrument could be considered as invariant in both groups. however, there are differences between groups for the mean of both analyses. %K anxiety %K factor structure %K measurement invariance %K multigroup. %U http://www.scielo.cl/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0718-50062012000600005&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
