%0 Journal Article %T Clima organizacional en los departamentos del decanato de ciencias de la salud de la universidad centro occidental "Lisandro Alvarado" %A Mujica %A Mar¨ªa Alida %J Educere %D 2009 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X this article has been written aiming to analyze the organizational environment at the health science dean£¿s office departments at £¿lisandro alvarado£¿ university through a transversal descriptive study. 241 professors built the population and 106 the sample, obtained by stratum-based sampling with proportional allocation; a structured questionnaire was used divided in four components and eight subcomponents. the organizational environment at the health science dean£¿s office varied from fairly favorable to unfavorable; being fairly favorable in the nursery, medical education and morphological sciences departments; nonetheless, in the social preventive medicine and functional sciences departments it was perceived as fairly unfavorable. the result will allow authorities from the dean£¿s office and heads of departments introducing planned changes, in both the organizational structure and the work performance of the professors in order to achieve a better efficiency and effectiveness on the job. %K organizational environment %K components %K subcomponents %K departments. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1316-49102009000200011&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
